    Saved by the Bell

As summer is coming to an end, the GNO area is diving head into that back to school fever. Even though it is exciting to be starting a brand new year of school for the children, the parents catch the heat of making sure everything is completed on time. In & Out Urgent Care wants to help with providing services you may be on the lookout for, such as: school physicals, sports physicals and vaccinations.

Some schools require an updated form or proof of previous immunizations and vaccinations just to be allowed through the double doors on the first day of school. This preparation starts with a provider who can assess your child and approve their readiness for the seasons ahead.

No matter which sport your child plays – whether its soccer, volleyball, football, baseball, track, basketball or cheerleading – there is always a risk of getting hurt. It can even be playing during recess or running drills during a practice; casualties can range from an allergic reaction to spraining a wrist, heat stroke or sports-induced asthma. It is a wise decision for every person who plays a sport to get a physical to make sure they’re in tip top shape and healthy enough to participate.

Ideally, a physical or vaccinations should be done six to eight weeks prior to the start of the season. This way if the provider sees fit to treat your child for an existing condition, there will be enough time to be cleared to play. Expect to be questioned in great detail about any previous hospitalizations or history of illness so the provider can properly assess you or your child’s health.

Our clinic is located in your neighborhood! We can have you and your children in and out in a productive manner.
